Donald Trump Jr has been spotted holding hands with a socialite as his fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle is appointed by his dad, President-elect Donald Trump, to serve in Greece.
Trump announced on Tuesday that Guilfoyle, 55, will work as America’s ambassador to Greece and ‘represent the United States, and safeguard its interests abroad’. Guilfoyle will reportedly move to the official residence of the US ambassador in Athens next year.
Trump Jr, 46, quickly broke his silence and congratulated Guilfoyle in a social media post that some believe suggests the end of their romantic relationship.
‘I am so proud of Kimberly,’ wrote Trump Jr while sharing his father’s appointment announcement. ‘She loves America and she always has wanted to serve the country as an Ambassador. She will be an amazing leader for America First.’
Who is Bettina Anderson?
Trump Jr and Bettina Anderson, 38, a socialite, model and activist, were first pictured together in August by the Daily Mail. They were eating lunch at The Honor Bar in Palm Beach, which is about four miles from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort. According to the news outlet, the pair were seen kissing several times.
Anderson has reportedly been considered one of the most eligible bachelorettes in that area of Florida for years.
She co-founded the nonprofit The Paradise Fund, which has a mission to ‘educate and spread awareness about causes of… ongoing changes in weather patterns that ultimately become natural disasters’.
Anderson’s father is the late Harry Loy Anderson Jr, who at 26 years old became the youngest president of a bank in American history, overseeing Worth Avenue National Bank.

Guilfoyle in the fall admitted she was ‘blindsided’ by the images of her fiancé with another woman.
Trump Jr and Guilfoyle, who divorced from California Governor Gavin Newsom, began dating in 2018 and got engaged in 2020. While the couple have not addressed reports of their split, it may be timed with Trump’s return to the White House.
‘There is no more Kimberly and Don – at least not romantically,’ a source told the Daily Mail on Tuesday. ‘Their engagement hasn’t officially been called off yet. They were waiting until after the Inauguration to announce.’
Meanwhile in recent months, Trump Jr and Anderson have not been too secretive. On Election Day, Anderson posted a photo of flowers and the note, ‘Happy 8 months, love you’, to her Instagram story. Trump Jr was also seen celebrating Anderson’s birthday with her.
