Burglars take sports equipment, tools from Saratoga cars, homes
Dec. 3
Vehicle burglary: Between 11 p.m. on Dec. 2 and 9 a.m. on Dec. 3, someone broke through a window of a vehicle parked in the 20000 block of Pierce Road and stole a bag containing sports equipment for a loss valued at approximately $500.
Dec. 4
Vehicle tampering, grand theft: Between 7 p.m. on Dec. 3 and 7 a.m. on Dec. 4, someone tampered with a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 18000 block of Ansley Place and stole a catalytic converter for a total loss estimated at approximately $2,500.
Auto theft: Between 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 and 1:35 a.m. on Dec. 5, someone stole a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 13000 block of Fortuna Court. The vehicle was recovered later in Morgan Hill.
Dec. 6
Resisting/delaying arrest: At 12:20 p.m., deputies attempted to contact a wanted suspect and serve a warrant at a residence in the 14000 block of Fruitvale Avenue. The suspect was contacted and resisted deputies, but was ultimately arrested and booked into main jail.
Dec. 7
Residential burglary: Between 4 p.m. on Dec. 6 and 12:28 p.m. on Dec. 7, someone pried open the front door of a residence in the 12000 block of Titus Avenue, entered the home and the garage, and stole tools and building materials for a loss valued at approximately $11,639.
