B train subway service suspended across NYC

NEW YORK (PIX11) -- B train service was been suspended between Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx on Thursday morning, according to the MTA.

The suspension was caused by a signal malfunction on the Manhattan Bridge and debris on the tracks near DeKalb Avenue in Brooklyn, the MTA's website said.

For alternate service riders are advised to take the Q train in Brooklyn, the D train in Lower Manhattan, and the C train in upper Manhattan.

The suspension comes as N, Q, and R trains are also delayed in both directions due to a signal malfunction near Canal Street. Uptown N and Q trains are running along the R line from DeKalb Avenue to Canal Street.
