Weekend Watch: A Forest Festival and an annual Bazaar return!

AUSTIN (KXAN)-- After a few chilly days, temperatures are looking to rebound this weekend for a pair of fun events!

If you are looking to enjoy some outdoor fun, visit Sherwood Celtic Yuletide. If you want to do some Christmas shopping, the 50th Annual Armadillo Christmas Bazaar returns with food, drinks, music, and plenty of deals!

Sherwood Celtic Yuletide

Sherwood Forest is known for its Yearly Ren Fair but did you know for one weekend in December, the grounds are transformed into the Yuletide Festival? Happening this Friday, Dec. 13 and concluding on Saturday, Dec. 14, Sherwood Forest kicks off its annual tradition. There will be plenty of performances and food to eat. Plus, Santa will be there to see you there. You can purchase tickets for this event here.

Fridays weather will cooperate with temperatures starting off at 67° for the kick off of the event and dropping to the mid to low 60s before the event ends. Perfect with a light jacket and a few clouds up in the sky.

Armadillo Christmas Bazaar

The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar returns this weekend and lasts for 10 days. Celebrating their 50th Anniversary, this is the perfect place to wrap up your Christmas Shopping. With plenty of performers, bands, and games.
