COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - From annual holiday performances at the Ohio Theatre and Christmas light shows to the Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena, here are things to see and do this weekend in central Ohio.

BalletMet's "The Nutcracker"

Columbus Zoo Wildlights

Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, through Jan. 5 from 5 to 10 p.m.

  • View millions of LED zoo lights, animated musical light shows, holiday activities and much more at the Columbus Zoo. The annual Wildlights is included in regular zoo admission.

Blue Jackets vs. Capitals

Nationwide Arena, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.

  • The Blue Jackets face the Washington Capitals in a home game at Nationwide Arena.

Columbus Gay Men's Chorus Holiday Concert

  • Celebrate the holiday season watching the Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus in their concert, Light, Bright, and Gay.

Firefighters 4 Kids Toy Drive

CAS, Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Join NBC4 the Columbus Division of Fire, CME Federal Credit Union, Servpro, CAS, 97.9 WNCI and 93.3 The Bus to hold the 46th annual NBC4 Firefighters for Kids Toy Drive. Drop off new, unwrapped toys, gift cards and monetary donations to help make the holiday season special for local children.

Jazz on the Mezz

Lincoln Theatre, Dec. 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

  • Enjoy a two hour-long sets of distinctive jazz, full of songs that evoke the spirit and the roots of the genre.
