Andhra Pradesh all set to get skill-tagged

Building on the success of a pilot project in Mangalagiri, the Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up to launch a Statewide skill census, the first of its kind in India, in January 2025. This initiative aims to provide a detailed analysis of the State’s workforce, classify and organise the skills possessed by people by identifying skill gaps and enabling targeted interventions to address them, reports P.
