APD: Woman dead after being struck by vehicle in north Austin
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle in north Austin last week, the Austin Police Department said in a news release.
APD officers responded to the crash around 3:50 a.m., Dec. 6, in the 1400 block of Rutland Drive. The woman, who wasn't identified by police Thursday, died on the scene. Police said the driver remained on the scene, cooperated with the investigation and was not impaired at the time of the crash.
This is now being investigated as Austin's 83rd fatal crash of 2024, according to police.

"A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest," police said.
