Tyla Performs at 2024 Billboard Music Awards Wearing Chain-Adorned Chunky Leather Boots
Tyla brought her fun and chic fashion sense to the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, which aired on Dec. 12. The South African artist, who performed “Push 2 Start” and “Shake Ah” at the event, went for a playfully edgy aesthetic complemented by chain-adorned boots.
Tyla took the “office siren” trend to a new level with a layered cropped white button down fastened only at the top, which revealed a black bralette underneath. Her outfit also included a striped animal print miniskirt with an embellished rectangular adornment; she wore this over distressed sheer tights.
The singer lifted up her look with a pair of black boots designed with a close-fitting shaft reaching the mid-calf area. The shoes featured a chunky sole and a rounded toe, making a statement with a bold silhouette. The upper was adorned with thin silver chain detailing, bringing a metallic edge to her ensemble.
Tyla is known to bring flair to her public appearances through her fashion choices. At the MTV EMAs, for example, she wore a blue striped gown by Roberto Cavalli which paid tribute to Aaliyah; she paired this dress with black gladiator-style sandals from Paris Texas. She opted for another gladiator style when she put on DSquared2’s Riri Sandals, a style inspired by Rihanna, for her “Push 2 Start” music video. The musician also wowed at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2024 wearing a pair of René Caovilla’s crystal-adorned Chandelier sandals.
