Reese Witherspoon’s Winter YA Book Club Pick Has the 90s Nostalgia Readers of All Ages Need

She’s done it again, folks! Reese Witherspoon picked yet another standout page-turner for her book club that not only makes us want to curl up with some cocoa and snuggle in for a good read — but it makes the teens in our lives want to do the same. [Cue Elle Woods saying, “What, like it’s hard?”]

Witherspoon just announced that Throwback by Maurene Goo is the Winter YA Pick for Reese’s Book Club, and she made the announcement with the cutest video that shows Goo and Witherspoon’s nieces, Abby and Draper, passing around the book.

“The booklover urge to share your current read with all your besties. 👀📖,” Witherspoon captioned the post. And she does mean all your besties. Don’t let the “young adult” category fool you. Throwback is the perfect book for parents and teens to read together. (Or solo … no judgment!)
