MSNBC panel bursts into hysterics over guest's 'verbally incontinent' jab at Cabinet pick
MSNBC's Thursday afternoon political panel broke out laughing after The Bulwark's Charlie Sykes lodged a unique jab at one of Donald Trump's potential Cabinet picks.
The segment came following a video of Pete Hegseth denigrating LGBTQ service members in the military and questioning their ability to do their jobs. Trump's secretary of defense pick said various military branches want women in their forces to put them on a recruitment poster.
Host Nicolle Wallace pointed out that Trump's affinity for the "manosphere" means more nominees from that world have made controversial statements that could hurt their nominations.

Sykes agreed and said Hegseth is unique in that "he's not only ideologically extreme, he's verbally incontinent."
Wallace and Dr. Basil Smikle burst into laughter.
Sykes continued, promising that more would come out about Hegseth between now and the Senate vote, which is months away.
"And this is also the problem of, I think, that we have been talking about it, voters vote for certain things but then you get into the details," he said. "Then you get into the what exactly do you mean when you say this sort of thing? You're going to see one of these nominees after another, and you have to explain in some detail exactly why they said what they did, why they don't mean what they obviously said, and what they actually believe now. It is going to be an interesting thing to watch."
