The government of national unity's (GNU) clearing house mechanism has finished its work on the Basic Education Laws Amendment (BELA) Act and President Cyril Ramaphosa will make an announcement on the way forward "soon", his deputy, Paul Mashatile, has told the SACP's national congress.
