Ind vs Aus 3rd Test: Australia 28-0 on rain-shortened 1st day against India

Rain and a soggy outfield washed out most of the third test's opening day at the Gabba. Australian openers Usman Khawaja (19 not out) and Nathan McSweeney (4 not out) were at the crease with Australia on 28-0 after 13.2 overs when play was abandoned for the day. India had earlier won the toss and elected to field.
