Farmers suspend foot march to Delhi for the day

Farmers protesting near the Punjab-Haryana border suspended their march to Delhi after Haryana police used tear gas and water cannons, injuring several. Farmers allege rubber bullets and chemical-laced water were also used. They are demanding guaranteed minimum support prices for crops, debt relief, and other concessions, and question which constitution protects their right to protest.
