From Maura Higgins to Sabrina Carpenter – 8 celebs who NEVER feel the cold & how to pose like a star this winter
THE temperature has officially dropped.
And whilst most of us mere mortals will bundle up in cosy jumpers and thick scarves, some celebrities are taking the ‘keeping it cool’ to a whole new level.
Myleene Klass is just one of the celebrities appearing to not feel the cold[/caption] Maura Higgins has been seen regularly stepping out baring all in the cold tempereatures[/caption] Singer Lily Allen has proven her thick skin in this years revealing outfits[/caption]They’re braving the chilly weather in daring outfits that turn heads and defy the cold.
From strappy dresses to bold, barely-there ensembles, these stars are ice queens of fashion, showing that style knows no season.
Whether they’re strutting down the red carpet or just out and about, these frosty fashionistas prove that a bit of frost won’t stop them from making a hot style statement.
And body language expert Judi James believes there’s more to it than meets the eye.
She says: “There’s an underlying signal of strength, resilience and determination about posing in the cold wearing very little in the way of an outfit.
“It shows how getting the look right is more of a priority than keeping warm or dry and gives a girl some legendary status as a bit of a trouper, someone in the business who gets a reputation for professionalism and a lack of complaining.
“These celebs show the literal meaning of ‘braving the cold’ as it’s all about suffering for their art.
“Huddling under a coat might feel better but when you’ve invested time and possibly money to get the red carpet look just right in a bid to promote a movie or a career, thermals and puffa coats are not seen as a viable option.”
Here, we take a look at the celebrities who don’t appear to feel the cold – you might want to grab a hot drink…

What is the trick to posing in the cold?
By Judi James, Body Language Expert
The elite body language trick is to not just brave the cold but to pose as though you’re not even feeling it.
Skin needs to look glowing and sun-kissed rather than blue and mottled and gleaming veneers should never be caught chattering.
It suggests more of an A-list celebrity vibe rather than a freezing night on a soggy red carpet.
Northern girls in the UK know all about this look as they file into nightclubs in the thick of winter wearing their lack of a coat or warm clothing as a badge of honour.

How to take a selfie like a celeb
By Joseph Hagan, Celebrity publicist and owner of Streamline PR
- Lighting Is Everything: Try to go for soft, natural lighting to create a flattering effect.
Sunlight streaming through a window can provide a beautiful, natural glow, while a selfie light can help to evenly illuminate your face and body.
Avoid harsh overhead lighting, as it can create unflattering shadows and highlight imperfections.
If you’re looking to set a mood, coloured lighting can be effective— red lighting can add a sultry, warm tone, while blue lighting creates a cooler, more artistic vibe.
The key is to choose lighting that enhances your natural beauty and sets the right atmosphere for the image. - Focus on Suggestion, Rather Than Exposure: Emphasise what’s left to the imagination.
Using creative angles, shadows, or partially covered poses can make your image more artistic and less overt.
Self-timers can be helpful for achieving the right angle, allowing you to experiment with different poses without the need to hold the phone.
For a more controlled shot, using a mirror can add depth and allow for unique perspectives, but make sure to keep the focus on your form rather than the reflection itself.
The goal is to capture a moment that feels intimate and empowered, rather than explicit. - Background Matters: Choose a clean, uncluttered background to ensure the focus remains on you.
A messy or chaotic setting can distract from the elegance of the photo.
Outdoor shots, such as on a beach or in a secluded natural area, can add an element of sophistication and serenity to your image. - Confidence Over Provocation: Your confidence should shine through without crossing into overly provocative territory.
A relaxed, comfortable pose will always appear more sophisticated.
