Manipur: Militant killed, 6 arrested after police clash; 2 labourers shot dead

In Thoubal district, Manipur, a fierce gun battle between police commandos and militants resulted in one militant's death and six apprehensions. A substantial cache of weapons and electronics was recovered. Separately, two laborers were fatally shot in Kakching district.
