Hallmark Star Jonathan Bennett Explains Why He Doesn't Decorate for Christmas
Jonathan Bennett might be part of Hallmark Channel’s Christmas royalty, but he’s not a big fan of bringing work home with him.
While promoting Hallmark+’s Finding Mr. Christmas, the 43-year-old actor explained why he doesn’t decorate his house for the holidays.
“I’m going to be honest, I don’t decorate for Christmas,” Jonathan shared with Us Weekly.
Keep reading to find out more…“By the time Christmas gets here [this year], I [will] have shot Finding Mr. Christmas, Christmas on Cherry Lane, a sequel to another Christmas movie I can’t talk about and a Christmas movie for next year,” Jonathan explained. “I’ve been covered in tinsel for six months out of the year!”
“This year I’m just going to not decorate because I can’t,” he added. “Just can’t do it.”
However, Jonathan did joke that his Finding Mr. Christmas contestants could come over and decorate his and husband Jaymes Vaughan’s house.
“I have 10 elves that will come over and decorate for me,” Jonathan said, before teasing that he would make it a “competition” to go along with the show.
“You’re going to have to decorate Jonathan and Jaymes’ house. You have 30 minutes to go!” he joked.
