Eyewitnesses Reveal Details About Zooey Deschanel’s Kids’ Behavior During This Rare Red Carpet Event

In case you missed it, Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott arrived in style for the world premiere of The Simpson’s Disney+ special O C’mon All Ye Faithful, which was held at the El Capitan Theatre on Dec 13, 2024. While many saw them on the red carpet, what fans didn’t see was that Deschanel’s kids were with them too! Along with that, eyewitnesses reveal exactly what her children, Charlie and Elsie, were like during the red carpet event.

Eyewitnesses revealed to People exactly what Elsie and Charlie were like during the A-list outing. “Both kids were very polite and well-behaved, and were excited to be there,” they said to the outlet “They seemed very normal and were even shy when their mom introduced them to Weird Al Yankovic.”

“Jonathan was great with both kids and held Charlie’s hand while standing around waiting for Zooey,” they added. Our hearts! It’s all so sweet!

For those who don’t know, Deschanel welcomed her two children, Elsie Otter, born in July 2015, and Charlie Wolf, born in May 2017, with her ex-husband Jacob Pechenik.

They separated in 2019, with the divorce finalizing the following year. However, the two continue to co-parent their little ones. Along with Elsie and Charlie’s parents, Deschanel’s loving boyfriend Scott is an amazing parent figure, too! (Deschanel and Scott have been engaged since 2023!)

In a previous interview with SheKnows, Deschanel talked about how her kids are her number one priority throughout her crazy, hectic life. She told us, “So of course, when I’m with them, yeah, what I’m thinking about most. I’m not worried about making time for the kids, because they get all the time. They end up being first priority for me, always.”
