Rainy, mild, colder, flurries later in week for CFP
An area of low pressure will move across the Great Lakes, maintaining a moist southerly flow, with showers lingering through the evening. Temperatures will be mild, in the upper 40s.
Some patchy drizzle will hang around overnight into Monday morning, with only a slight drop in temperature.
Another system will approach from the west on Monday, bringing a steady rain in the afternoon, along with breezy and mild conditions, with up to three-quarters of an inch by late evening, when the rain tapers off to light showers. Temperatures will top out in the upper 50s.
Dry weather will return Tuesday, as high pressure builds in, with a slight cool-down to the upper 40s.
A cold front will cross the state on Wednesday, bringing additional rain. This system will tap into seasonably cold air that will arrive later in the day, as temperatures fall from the upper 40s to the 30s. A few flurries are possible in a chilly northwesterly flow, with highs in the mid-30s Thursday and Friday.
A clipper-type storm will reinforce the cold weather next weekend, with a few snow showers and subfreezing cold for the OSU playoff game Saturday night.
