Delhi HC directs senior SpiceJet officials to appear over non-payment of dues

SpiceJet's COO and CEO have been summoned by the Delhi High Court over unpaid dues of over USD 6.03 lakh to aircraft engine lessors. The court rejected SpiceJet's request for a virtual appearance. This follows previous defaults and a Supreme Court-backed order to ground three engines. The executives must appear in court on January 16, 2025.
