President Biden spoke early Monday afternoon at the Labor Department to highlight his administration's efforts to strengthen America's workforce.

The president's appearance came as he is set to designate a national monument in Maine commemorating pioneering Labor Secretary Frances Perkins, who served as the nation’s first woman cabinet secretary under Franklin Roosevelt.
