Rohit Sharma falls cheaply again, India captain faces wrath of trolls, even asked…
New Delhi: India captain Rohit Sharma, batting at No. 6 in the 3rd Test against Australia, once again struggled against the swinging deliveries from the Australian pacers. Rohit fought hard to add 10 runs on Day 4 after being unbeaten on zero at stumps on Day 3. However, his stay at the crease was short-lived as Pat Cummins got him caught behind the stumps with a brilliant outswinger on the fifth stump. Rohit’s dismissal for a low score once again prompted fans to unleash memes on social media on Tuesday.
Rohit joined the Indian team for the pink-ball Test in Adelaide, where he struggled with the bat. In the first innings of the Brisbane Test, the story was no different. Here’s the video:

Seeing the number of chances 37 and 36 year olds Rohit and Virat are getting even after multiple low scores, we should all feel that injustice was done with Pujara and Rahane. pic.twitter.com/st6eaYXktH

While the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and Yashasvi Jaiswal struggled, KL Rahul showed exactly how to bat on the tricky Gabba surface. Rahul anchored the innings, holding one end together and contributing the most to India’s cause, despite lacking support from the other end.
