Varanasi's Gurubagh-Rathyatra road expansion project aims to ease traffic congestion

Varanasi Development Authority is widening the Gurubagh-Rathyatra road to 18 meters to alleviate traffic congestion on the Cantt station-Lanka route. Illegal encroachments within nine meters of the road's center will be removed. The project aims to improve traffic flow, especially with the anticipated increase due to the upcoming ropeway service from the completed Rathyatra station.
