Starr appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court today charged with a number of offences – including rape and sexual assault.
He is also accused of coercive behaviour and intentional strangulation.
Starr was initially granted bail after appearing before magistrates last Saturday.
He has since been remanded into custody to next appear at the same court on January 20 for a plea hearing.
Dad Freddie was one of the biggest stars in the 1970s and 1980s thanks to his wacky and unpredictable comedy style.
He graced the front page of The Sun in March 1986 with the memorable story: “Freddie Starr Ate My Hamster”.
At the height of his fame, Starr earned an estimated £2million a year.
In 2019, the impressionist died penniless from a heart attack aged 76 while living in Spain.
He had starred on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2011 just a year after recovering from quadruple bypass surgery following a heart attack.
However, Freddie had to leave the jungle due to ill-health and later became a recluse.
