Grant’s navy dress was actually made upcycled rowing kits, she revealed in an interview.

Other iconic sports names like boxer Barry McGuigan and Olympic cyclists Bradley Wiggins and Sir Chris Hoy also joined the stars.

Sir Chris is in the midst of a brave cancer battle and recently revealed new treatments could extend his life.

The six-time Olympic champion has been told by doctors that he has between two and four years to live after being diagnosed with stage four cancer.

Sir Chris has been diagnosed with primary cancer in his prostate, which has spread to his bones.

Former England Lioness Alex Scott later arrived on the red carpet with her musician partner Jess Glynne.

Runner Keely Hodgkinson was odds on to win after her gold medal at the Paris Olympics – three years after silver in Tokyo.

And she took home the prestigious award, pipping darts sensation Littler.
