U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has listed approximately 1.45 million individuals, including 180,000 Indians, for potential deportation. Historically, Indians, particularly from Punjab, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh, have sought entry into the U.S., with around 90,000 apprehensions in recent years. A potential shift in public sentiment within India may arise, with some citizens possibly opposing the return of these deportees.
