PHOTOS: Uninsured driver plows into Portland pawn shop, police say

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The driver of a white muscle car crashed into the A-1 Hawk Jewelry & Loan pawn shop on Division Street in Southeast Portland Tuesday morning.

Local woman Mircellia Prodoehl told KOIN 6 News that she was driving down Division at 8:30 a.m. when she noticed the vehicle smashed into the building. 

Portland Police Bureau spokesperson Mike Benner said that no one was injured in the crash, but the building suffered “significant damage.” The driver refused medical treatment at the scene, Benner said, and was ticketed for driving without insurance and for driving without a license.
