Tamil Nadu CM Stalin announces Rs 400 crore further sum for housing scheme named after 'Kalaignar'

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin announced an additional Rs 400 crore allocation for the 'Kalaignarin Kanavu Illam' housing scheme, bringing the total disbursement to Rs 1,451 crore. The scheme aims to upgrade 8 lakh huts to concrete houses by 2030, starting with one lakh houses in 2024-25, funded by a Rs 3,500 crore allocation.
