Indian shadow bank Shriram Finance gets record $1.28 billion loan

The multi-currency deal includes dollar, euro, and dirham tranches with tenors ranging from three to five years. This borrowing follows tightened regulations on local currency loans, driving Indian shadow banks to seek offshore funding.
