Higher capex need, longer gestation period challenges for electronics sector, govt tells Lok Sabha

To address the challenges of higher capital expenditure needs, longer gestation periods, and others, the government has approved various central-level initiatives. The country's electronics production sector is expanding at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 17%, despite challenges, and the export of electronic goods is growing at a CAGR of more than 20%.
