Hindustan Zinc plans to raise RE contribution to over 70 pc of total power needs by 2027

Hindustan Zinc Ltd aims to increase its renewable energy use to over 70% of its total power needs by 2027. The company plans to expand its renewable power agreements to 530 MW, boosting its access to continuous green energy. This initiative is expected to significantly reduce carbon emissions and contribute to the company's goal of net-zero emissions by 2050.
