BiH, Croatia join hands to combat plastic pollution

SARAJEVO, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- A cross-border meeting was held in Capljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on Wednesday, aimed at reducing plastic waste in the Adriatic-Ionian region.

Representatives from the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries in Split, Croatia, outlined the project's goals and activities, and the Neretva river basin was selected for pilot activities, according to a news release.
