DAA to introduce new Austin police downtown commander at monthly meeting

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Downtown Austin Alliance will introduce Mark Clemens, the new Austin Police Department downtown commander, at its monthly virtual meeting on Thursday.

Clemens will provide an update on downtown crime trends and APD staffing, according to a press release.

The DAA said it will also share the October Downtown Public Improvement District's unsheltered homeless count results and updates on Downtown Alliance safety programs.
