Isabel Webster has left GB News in a shock move

It came as a shock to fans who had watched their final show of 2024 without any mention of a schedule shake-up.

In a GB News update posted on X, the account wrote: “Isabel Webster has also departed GB News. She presented her final Breakfast show alongside Eamonn Holmes this morning.

“GBN Updates wishes her the best for the future.”

Replying to the message, Eamonn wrote: “Bye my girl x.”

The Sun revealed TV legend Eamonn was left blindsided by Isabel’s unexpected exit.

It’s believed the presenter’s negotiations to return in 2025 took a turn at the last-minute, leaving Eamonn blindsided.

It meant she left the station without saying a proper farewell to viewers.

Isabel had earlier posted a snap of the pair on the Breakfast Show, writing: “Final show from us for 2024.

“Thanks for your company this year. See you soon!

“Merry Christmas – I hope you all find some peace and joy.”

The pair began working together on Sky News in September 2016.

He left two years later to pursue other opportunities, including his Friday hosting duties with Ruth on ITV‘s This Morning.

After being axed amid a feud with then-presenter Phillip Schofield, Eamon joined GB News in January 2022.

Isabel followed suit by quitting Sky News to be his co-anchor.

Eamonn will now present alongside Ellie Costello Monday to Wednesday on GB News Breakfast.
