15-year-old seriously injured after rollover crash

WABAUNSEE COUNTY (KSNT) - A 15-year-old girl was seriously injured in a rollover crash near Mission Valley High School on Wednesday.

At 3:40 p.m., the 15-year-old was driving a Ford F250 west on Mission Valley Road. The vehicle left the road, overcorrected and crossed the westbound and eastbound lanes of Mission Valley Road. The vehicle went into a ditch and rolled several times, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP).

The girl was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. She wasn't wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to the KHP.
