7 killed in fire in N. Egypt
CAIRO, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Seven people were killed on Thursday when a fire broke out in a candle workshop in the city of Shubra El-Kheima in Egypt's Qalyubia governorate, north of the capital Cairo, official media reported.
The workshop was located on the first floor of a multi-story residential building, and the fire also damaged a room on the second floor, state-run Akhbar El-Yom newspaper reported.
