Brad Pitt’s Former Body Double Sentenced for Heinous Crimes
A Scottish man who previously served as a body double for Brad Pitt has been sentenced for “stealthing,” a form of rape, according to the country’s Crown Office & Prosecutor’s Fiscal Service.
Luke Ford, 35, will spend 16 years in prison for 19 charges including the heinous criminal act, which is "defined as not using a protective condom without a partner’s knowledge or consent, which is rape," according to the High Court. The BBC reported that Ford preyed upon women he met through dating apps for more than a decade. Multiple women reported that Ford took explicit photos of them without their knowledge and then used the photos to blackmail his victims, threatening to share the shots with the person’s family or employers. In another case, Ford smashed a woman’s head against a car window.
The “stealthing” case for which Ford was sentenced concerned a woman he met on Tinder. She and Ford went on a few dates before deciding to have sexual intercourse. She told Ford to wear a condom, and was under the impression he did, but after the act he informed her that he hadn’t worn a condom. The next day, Ford sent her a text urging her to either buy the morning-after pill or get an abortion. "Just get the pill and if you are pregnant get rid of it,” the message read.

Ford was described by prosecutors as a failed actor who used the fact that he once doubled Pitt as a way to charm his victims. He was one of several people who served as photo doubles for Pitt during World War Z’s production in Glasgow. “He genuinely thought he was going to be the next Brad Pitt,” one of his victims told STV News. “I think there were multiple stunt doubles, but the way that he spun it, it looked like he was Brad Pitt’s one-and-only stunt double.” She added: “I would say it’s taken me a long time to get over what happened and say that life is good now.”
“Ford is a dangerous and manipulative sexual predator,” Detective Inspector Steven Gray said in a statement. “I hope that knowing he is now behind bars for his crimes helps them continue to move forward with their lives.”
