Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain laid to rest in San Francisco

Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain, renowned for his innovative percussion work, passed away in San Francisco at 73 due to lung disease complications. The son of legendary tabla player Alla Rakha, Hussain's six-decade career spanned classical, jazz, and Western classical music, earning him four Grammy Awards, including three this year. He is survived by his wife, daughters, brothers, and sister.
