Priyank Kharge, Tejasvi Surya among leaders to cheer news of US Consulate in Bengaluru

US ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, said on Thursday that they are planning to open a consulate in Bengaluru in January. He also added that the United States was the only major country that does not have a consulate in Bengaluru. Minister Priyank Kharge posted on X about how this initiative will strengthen the ties between India and the US. Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya too expressed his support on X.
