Cynthia Erivo and Lena Waithe are enjoying the best of Broadway!

The Wicked actress and her longtime partner stepped out for the opening night performance of the new Gypsy production on Thursday night (December 19) at the Majestic Theatre in New York City.

Cynthia and Lena caught Audra McDonald‘s performance as Mama Rose in the beloved musical.

While on the carpet, Cynthia met up with Broadway legend Tovah Feldshuh, who most recently appeared in the Netflix comedy series Nobody Wants This.

Cynthia has been in a relationship with writer and comedian Lena for years. While they’ve known each other since at least 2018, relationship rumors didn’t start until around 2021.

You might know Lena as the creator of the Showtime series The Chi and the BET comedy shows Boomerang and Twenties. She’s also a comedian who has been seen in the Netflix series Master of None. She won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for that show, becoming the first African-American woman to win in the category. She has also appeared in the movie Ready Player One and the HBO series Westworld.
