The Hollywood star now looks worlds away from his films, but still still sports the same iconic haircut and beard – although now grey – that fans will remember from the franchise.

Taking a step away from the limelight, the actor is now dabbling in the art of clay as a sculptor.

And teh former actor has even launched his own TikTok.

In one post, Daniel shows off his incredible artwork with one sculpture showing a lady sprawled backwards over a chair.

Captioning the video, he penned: “I thought I would share this work in-progress video of a new sculpture I am creating.

“Thinking of naming it Dancer On A Chair, unless any of you have a better idea.”

Fans flooded the comments baffed by the actors new career and look, one user commented: “omg marv!!! I thought you were just a actor and comedian, this is amazing (heart eyes emoji)”

“Daniel Stern has a tik tok?!?!? this guy’s my childhood!” added another

“Your my favourite character in the home alone movies, you’re the reason I laughed so hard, appreciate you,” wrote a third.

The iconic film sees eight-year-old Kevin, played by Macaulay Culkin, accidentally left home alone when his family leave for a Christmas trip France.

At first, he’s happy to be in charge until two thieving con-men played by Daniel and Joe try and break into the house leaving Kevin to set up a series of wild traps around the house.

The film hit cinemas in 1990 and became the second highest grossing film of that year, raking in an impressive $476.7 million worldwide.

When it came to the sequel, Daniel made sure to insert a special clause in to his contract that saw him pocket millions.

He said: “I knew they couldn’t do the movie without me, but I was also insecure, since I almost blew it the first time.”

“I didn’t want to be too greedy when I loved the movie and the part so much.”

The actor bagged himself a whopping $1.5million compromising on a percentage of one percent on the profits of the film.

Considering how much the Christmas sequel earned at the box office, Stern was rolling in cash with his one-percent share.

A staggering 34 years on and Home Alone and its sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, is still among the most-watched holiday movies.
