Olive oil prices are falling from record highs thanks to a bumper harvest in Spain and other Mediterranean countries. However, depleted global stocks and ever-increasing demand mean prices are unlikely to return to pre-crisis lows. This offers a welcome reprieve for struggling olive farmers.
