Traffic backup on I-49 cleared after all SB lanes were blocked at I-10
UPDATE, 8:40 a.m.: According to DOTD, the crash has been cleared.
ORIGINAL STORY: LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- I-49 is backed up this morning after an accident on US-167 near I-10 has all southbound lanes blocked, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
US-167 runs concurrent with I-49 north of I-10. The crash is just south of the I-10/US-167 interchange, DOTD said.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
