LPA off Mindanao may intensify on Sunday – Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — The low-pressure area (LPA) near Mindanao can develop into a tropical cyclone on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Friday. The LPA was once Tropical Depression Querubin. Pagasa previously said that “through Sunday (22 December), this LPA will traverse Mindanao, the Sulu Sea, and Palawan.” “There’s
