If you were unaware, Amazon acquired James Bond in a multi-billion dollar business deal back in 2022.
Since then producer Barbara Broccoli, the daughter of original Bond producer Albert R. Broccoli, has reportedly been at odds with Amazon, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.
Barbara has reportedly taken issue with the franchise being referred to as “content” and an Amazon employee who said that they didn’t see James Bond as “a hero,” via Daily Mail.
She is reportedly working with Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke, but they are not seeing eye to eye.
The producer is said to have reservations allowing “temporary people to make permanent decisions” and has gone as far as to refer to people at Amazon as “f-cking idiots.”

WSJ’s report comes a few weeks after Barbara issued a statement about the hunt for the next James Bond.
