UFC Tampa medical suspensions: Colby Covington gets short sit, five others suspended indefinitely
Colby Covington will be sidelined, but not for very long following his doctor’s stoppage loss to Joaquin Buckley in the main event of UFC Tampa.
MMA Fighting received a full list of UFC Tampa medical suspensions following this past Saturday’s card at Amalie Arena. Covington received a 45-day suspension from the Florida Athletic Commission, per the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
Additionally, five other fighters — including co-main event winner Cub Swanson — received indefinite suspensions following their bouts. Dustin Jacoby, Daniel Marcos, Tuco Tukkos, and Davey Grant also were suspended indefinitely.
