Varanasi airport expansion: Rs 2870 crore project to enhance infrastructure and regional connectivity

Varanasi's Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport is getting a major upgrade. The Rs 2870 crore project will expand the airport's area and passenger capacity. A new terminal inspired by local architecture is planned. The runway will be extended. More parking and passenger facilities will be added. The project will be completed in 2027.
