NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope captures stunning image of ‘cosmic eye’ spiral galaxy. It sits 76,000,000 light years away from Earth
The Hubble Space Telescope has captured a spiral galaxy designated as NGC 2566, at a distance of 76 million years in the constellation of Puppis. While the galaxy is circular in shape, it is tilted from the vantage point of the Earth. The Hubble data are especially valuable for studying stars that are just a few million years old.
