Xerox to buy printer maker Lexmark from Chinese owners in $1.5 bln deal
Xerox will acquire Lexmark International for $1.5 billion to increase its presence in Asian markets and better compete in the printing industry. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2025. The combined company will serve over 200,000 clients in 170 countries. Xerox expects the acquisition to boost profits and save $200 million annually.
