Arjun Tendulkar fails to fire against ‘AK-47’ as Goa lose to Haryana in Vizay Hazare Trophy 2024 match

New Delhi: Anshul Kamboj, affectionately known as AK–47, gets his nickname from the initials “AK” of his name and the number “47,” which corresponds to his jersey number.

In the Vijay Hazare Trophy match between Goa and Haryana on Monday, Arjun Tendulkar, who batted at number 7 for Goa, was dismissed by the lethal AK-47.

Kamboj, a Haryana bowler, claimed his sole wicket of the match by sending Tendulkar back to the pavilion.

Tendulkar faced 12 balls and scored 14 runs, including a boundary and a six, before Kamboj’s delivery ended his stay at the crease.
