The house initially used in the Twilight movies is in Portland, but the later one was a reconstruction

In a video on her TikTok page, Taylor – who was aged five when she landed the role – explained: “The filming location for the iconic Twilight house is not in America.

“It’s in a place called Squamish in British Columbia, Canada“.

In fact, different properties were used for different instalments in the film franchise.

While the initial films used a house in located in Portland, Oregon, a full-scale reconstruction was built deep in the Squamish woods for the movie Taylor was in.

The Squamish house can be seen in a number of outdoor scenes in the Breaking Dawn movies, as well as the final farewell shot.

It’s believed to have been knocked down once filming on the movies was complete.

Elsewhere in her TikTok video, Taylor explained that the house set was used by the actors in between shooting as well.

“Most of my scenes were outside the iconic house, so that’s where we did most of the shooting,” she said.

“And the funny thing about the Twilight house, when it’s not being used as their normal, you know, set, it’s used as like a green room and the dressing rooms.

“And the iconic living room is the main green room for everybody to just chill in.”

So that’s where Taylor “hung out most of the time” when she wasn’t required for filming.

“And it was really funny because Robert Pattinson just walked in and flopped on the couch and was like, ‘I’m just gonna take a nap here’,” she giggled.

“And so I was just like a five-year-old in the room watching Robert Pattinson just having an effing nap!”

She also had some scenes with Rami Malek, who played Egyptian vampire Benjamin in Breaking Dawn.

“I held Rami Malek’s face for seven hours because one of Renesmee’s powers is like holding your face and then like seeing your memories,” she explained.

While Mackenzie Foy is actually the actress most well known for playing Renesmee in the films, bosses actually enlisted the help of multiple young child stars – including Christie Burke, Kailyn Stratton and Abigail Rose Cornell – to act as “body doubles”.

Twilight Films In Order

The “Twilight” film series, based on Stephenie Meyer’s popular novels, has captivated audiences worldwide with its romantic and supernatural themes. The saga follows the intense relationship between Bella Swan, a human, and Edward Cullen, a vampire, set against the backdrop of a love triangle involving Jacob Black, a werewolf. To fully appreciate the storyline, it’s essential to watch the films in their correct order.

The series kicks off with “Twilight,” where Bella moves to Forks, Washington, and meets Edward, igniting their complicated romance. The sequel, “New Moon,” explores the aftermath of Edward’s departure and Bella’s growing friendship with Jacob. “Eclipse,” the third instalment, sees Bella caught in the middle of a brewing conflict between vampires and werewolves, while also facing choices about her future.

The final part of the saga is split into two films: “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” and “Breaking Dawn – Part 2.” These movies delve into Bella and Edward’s marriage, the birth of their daughter, and the subsequent challenges they face from the vampire world. Watching the films in this sequence ensures viewers can follow the progression of the characters’ relationships and the unfolding dramatic events seamlessly.

They are then believed to have used CGI to put Mackenzie’s face on them in post-production.

“I also got a lollipop from Taylor Lautner and a hot pack from Kristen Stewart,” Taylor concluded, promising she’d open up more about her time on set “next time” in a TikTok video.

Renesmee is the child of Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, and Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson, in the film.
